The Catalan Tourist Board , the Catalan Government authority responsible for promoting tourism-related policies, launched the campaign titled ‘Catalonia is your home’, (Catalonia is your home) to promote Catalonia as a high-quality tourist destination with an identity that makes it unique.
It was a 360-degree advertising campaign that included initiatives in numerous media and in a wide range of formats, including commercials, online content, landing pages, posts and advertisements on social networks and in other media.
The initiative was launched within the atypical context for the tourist sector generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was initially geared towards local tourism and the rest of the Spanish state but expanded to target the international market in France, Benelux, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Versatility as a core value
Our task was to create branded content tailored to different formats and in different languages in keeping with the leitmotif of the campaign. As the promotional initiative of the Catalan Tourism Board was one to apply across the board, it was necessary to deploy all our versatility to create content for various formats, referring to different tourism-related products and doing so with the different local, national and international target audiences in mind.
